We got everything about ready to go this morning and then went back over to the head of the trail we walked yesterday and took pictures again with good light. We left Harris State Park at 12:30 (GA Time).

It was another beautiful drive this morning... the temp started off around 55 degees. We made it up to 58 degrees, but with the wind it felt about 40 degrees. It may have been a bit warmer this evening after the sun came out.... but I'm now in my cozy home :-D

We are in Port Orford Oregon. We decided to camp at Camp Blanco RV Park... it is on highway 101... arrival time of 1:30 (GA Time). The park that was Passport America was crappy. We got settled in and ate dinner... veggie soup and a sandwich and then went off sight-seeing.

The port here is interesting... you usually see boats docked at the marina / pier, but here they lift the boats out of the water and set them on dollys (look like boat trailers) until it is time for them to go back into the water. There are only small fishing boats. There really isn't much else to the small town.

We drove a bit northward and visited the Cape Blanco Lighthouse. We both managed to climb up and down it... I wasn't sure of climbing back down the ladder part. It was interesting to actually see the light in the lighthouse.

Back to camp now... cable tv and I updated the computer, read the headlines and transferred pictures to a dvd.

We traveled a short distance today... hey... the mileage isn't figured up yet by the mathematician :-D
