We did another day of sight-seeing. This time we went to Mt. St. Helens National Park. J T, Kassy, Marcy, Devin and Amber went with us, Zarone and Linda. We had another great picnic lunch. It was very interesting looking at the volcanic mountain and hearing of what happened on May 18, 1980. Zarone and Linda tried to take us up the back way to Mt. St. Helens but the road was closed. At the ranger station we were told there was still five to seven feet of snow on the road! Then we had to loop around to get there from the front side. The roads were clear but there was still quite a bit of snow on the mountain. Another beautiful day!
