We left Vernal Utah at about 10:45 am (Ga Time... 8:45 am MT). We drove past the Dinosaur National Monument entrance again.

The desert mountain scene changed many times today... I can't really describe any of them, except they were all beautiful in their own way.

We traveled past many Prairie Dog towns today... and not a picture of any, just no place to pull over in time. Antelope and Elk were also seen today.. and sadly no pictures of the large antlers of the Elk.

We arrived at the Steamboat Campground in Steamboat Springs, Colorado at 2:15 pm (Ga Time... 12:15 MT) .

There was some thunder after we got set up and a few sprinkles of rain drops.

After dinner we walked along the bank of the Yampa river... not a very wide river here. We picked up a few more rocks :-)

Frank researched us a place to stay at while taking a peek at Pike's Peak and I took my shower. Frank came up with Peregrine Pines FamCamp at the United States Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs Colorado. We'll stay Tuesday and Wednesday night there.

It is now Frank's turn for the shower. I'm updating the blog and then will transfer some pictures to a disc.

We traveled 161 miles today.
